About This Study Guide
This standalone CHP / ABHP Study Guide is a local-only review and practice-exam tool. It is intended to support structured study, question review, weak-area tracking, and practice-exam generation using the embedded spreadsheet-based question bank.
The embedded multiple-choice bank contains 5,000 MCQ + 250 short-answer (including Very Hard tier). The short-answer bank adds 250 typed-response practice items with local grading (numeric tolerance, keyword match, exact match) and rubric self-grading for longer responses. All content remains draft until calculation, regulatory, and source validation is complete.

Best-effort educational content: Best efforts were made to create accurate CHP / ABHP-style study questions, answer keys, explanations, and source-basis notes. However, the content is provided for study and self-assessment only and may contain errors, omissions, outdated regulatory assumptions, incomplete source references, or draft calculations requiring validation.
No liability: The developer, maintainer, and associated business are not responsible or liable for certification results, exam outcomes, operational decisions, regulatory compliance decisions, professional actions, or any direct or indirect consequence from using this tool.
Not official: This tool is not an official ABHP, AAHP, NRC, DOE, NCRP, ICRP, or HPS product. It does not replace current regulations, license conditions, official guidance, employer procedures, qualified professional judgment, or the official ABHP examination preparation materials.
Short-answer draft warning: The short-answer bank is draft study content generated for practice and requires technical review. Numeric calculations, regulatory references, source pages, and rubrics should be independently validated before high-stakes use.
Source basis: The questions, answer rationales, and explanations were developed as original draft study content using cited references and source-basis fields captured in the workbook/question-bank records. Users should verify final answers against the cited references, current regulations, and authoritative guidance before relying on the material.
Source and Citation Use
- Each question record can include SourceIDs, SourceLocation, BasisForAnswer, and formula identifiers.
- The app displays the source/basis location during review feedback when available.
- The spreadsheet remains the controlling record for source traceability and validation status.

Version and release numbering
| Current app version | v3.4.0 |
| Current phase | Phase 9 / Short Answer Practice Module |
| Build ID | 2026-05-25-008 |
| Release type | UI Hotfix / Single-File Launch Build |
| Question bank version | Phase 9 / Short Answer Practice Module · 5,000 MCQ + 250 short-answer |
| Version rule | Major phase . feature phase . patch number. Example: 3.3.0 = Phase 3 app, QA stable baseline, no patch/hotfix yet. |
Current limitations
This phase reads the spreadsheet and runs review/exam modes with stronger filters, exam presets, score previews, and answer-basis display. It does not write changes directly back into the Excel file. Browser security prevents silent overwriting of local files. Later phases can add an export-updated-workbook workflow if needed.
